This group is dedicated to fostering a deep inner
spirituality through the use of two ancient prayer forms:
Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina. On Thursday evenings at
7:00 p.m. in Room #11, we gather for 20 minutes of silent
(centering) prayer, followed by a time of slowly reading the
upcoming Sunday’s gospel 3 times. After each reading, one of
the following questions is asked:
-What did you hear?
-What does it mean?
-What will it cost you?
The answers to these questions are answered in a brief
discussion. This group is also dedicated to the practices of
prayer, fasting, and almsgiving and to the deepening of our
appreciation of the liturgical year.
