Book Studies
Do you like to sink your teeth into a good book?
From time to time, we offer book studies that range in length from a one morning discussion to an 18-week study. The only cost to you is the cost of the book.
Our latest book study (parish wide) was the book Re-discover Catholicism by Matthew Kelley.
We will also be launching a regular BOOK CLUB featuring a new book each month. Rediscover Catholicism will be the first book discussed, but other good ones will be coming!
Be sure to check back. Any new book studies planned will be announced via the lead page of the parish website, the newsletter, FlockNote, Facebook. and weekly bulletins.
Some of the past books we have discussed include:
Raising Faith Filled-Kids by Tom McGrath
Loyola Press, 2000
Dear Heart, Come Home: The Path of Midlife Spirituality by Joyce Rupp
Crossroad Publishing, 2004
What Makes Us Catholic: Eight Gifts for Life by Thomas H. Groome
Harper, San Francisco, 2002
How Big is Your God? by Paul Coutinho, S.J.
