Finding God: Our Response to God's Gifts is a faith formation program from Loyola Press that fosters a lifelong relationship with God.  The theme for our first graders is God Found Everything Good - God & Creator.

Finding God is based on a spiral curriculum that integrates the fundamental themes of the Catholic Church as well as Scripture and Catholic Social Teachings.Each weekly session includes stories, activities, scripture, prayer, discussion and reflection.

Preparation to receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation begins in the 1st grade and is celebrated at the end of the 2nd grade.  Parents are always welcome to attend any or all sessions with the children.

Each year the SS. Peter & Paul first graders participate in Operation Christmas Child.  This service project provides gifts and comfort to needy children.  First grade children are asked to pack a clear plastic shoe box with toys, school supplies, and other gifts.  Operation Christmas Child delivers millions of shoe boxes like ours each year to needy children around the world.  Specific details and instructions come home with every first grader in October.
