Parents of Young Children


Adult Faith Formation offers the Active Parenting program for parents of young children (up to age 12) over six consecutive Wednesday evenings. These relaxed and informative classes are facilitated by Erica Medina, a Catholic mom and Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
The Parents of Young Children class gives parents specific techniques for parenting young children using the Active Parenting method, which teaches skills needed to effectively communicate with your children, encourage better behavior, use positive discipline techniques and teach responsibility.

The total cost to participate is only $25 for one or both parents to attend (payable the first night at SS. Peter & Paul), and childcare will be available at no charge upon request.

 Classes will be held in the Library from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM from October 5th through November 9th, 2011.  Please RSVP by September 26th to ensure materials.
