Thank you for expressing interest in the Little Rock
Scripture Study at SS. Peter & Paul church. We are now in
our second year of offering this wonderful opportunity to
explore the Word of God.
I wanted to be sure that you had specific information and I
also need to know which class you are most interested in
attending.
Here’s a brief rundown of how it works:
Time commitment: This group meets once
a week for 90 minutes. Two time periods are available: 9:30 a.m
Thursday mornings OR Thursday evenings 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Study time required: You will need to
set aside about 90 minutes during the week to do the weekly
reading and to answer the questions provided in the study. Some
people prefer to do this at one sitting while others commit
about 15 minutes a day. It’s really up to you!
Cost: $10 per 10 week unit for
materials- Payable at the first meeting.
What happens when we meet: At each weekly meeting, you will
have time to discuss the questions and answers on which you
worked during the week. You will be guided by a facilitator.
You will also be watching a 30 minute video which presents
reflections on your study from scripture scholars, both
laypeople and priests. This gives a uniquely Catholic
perspective and is quite interesting.

prefer the morning or evening class. Remember that both classes
are open to men and women, and that childcare will be provided
for the morning classes.
