M.O.M.S. Ministry

The Department of Adult Faith Formation
of SS. Peter & Paul Church presents:

M.O.M.S. Ministry

It is the hope and prayer of those who participate in this ministry, that the mothers at SS. Peter & Paul who are so busy taking care of their families will take this time to nurture themselves and give themselves the gift of time with others who understand.

The ministry of Mothers sharing (M.O.M.S.) was developed by the Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul’s Monastery in St. Paul, Minnesota.

It is based on the Gospel values articulated in the documents of Vatican II, especially in the document, Called and Gifted for the Third Millennium, and the traditional Benedictine values in these areas:
· Seeking God in daily relationships
· The Dignity and call of each human person to holiness
· The Christian’s ability to practice discernment and stewardship
· The value of Christian community and sharing time and talent with others.

Once a year, a formalized 8-week session begins here at SS. Peter & Paul. During the rest of the year, the moms gather to do book studies, creative activities and more. You are welcome to join them.

When: The 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month
Time: 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Cost: None at this time
Location: The Library Building at SS. Peter & Paul Church
